New York
In October 2005 we made a very important step in our mission to transform lives. Instituto da Criança organized an event for 60 people in New York and launched Children’s Call to Action (CCTA), an international fund raising program for projects supported by IC. The program is run in cooperation with our New York based partner organization “Brazil Foundation” (www.brazilfoundation.org), whose objective is to raise funds for programs promoting social change in Brazil.
Instituto da Criança is represented in New York by local volunteers, who agree to dedicate a couple of hours of their time per month to help IC.
