Instituto da Criança

SOLIDARY INCOME CAMPAIGN

Apart from receiving financial support from individual and legal entities, who donate without tax incentives, we also promote the ‘Campanha Renda Solidária’, a fund raising initiative for charitable organizations supported by Instituto da Criança. This program allows individual and legal entities to dedicate part of their income tax to the City Councils for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CMDCA), thus automatically benefiting our accredited institutions. This is an excellent opportunity to help organizations fighting for the civil rights of children and adolescents simply by making use of existing tax benefits when filing the next income tax return.

As a Legal Entity (if taxed according to the actual profit):

1. In 2007 Instituto da Criança was recognized as an OSCIP (Civil Society Organization of Public Interest), allowing you to contribute 2% of your operating profit to IC and credit the donation against tax liability as operating costs.

2. You can also dedicate up to 1% of your income tax to City Councils for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CMDCA), thus supporting selected projects and social work.

As an Individual Entity

If you file a standard tax return (‘versão completa’), you can contribute up to 6% of your income tax payable to social projects through CMDCAs and credit the donated amount against your tax liability.

You can support one or more institutions entitled to receive CMDCA support by making use of the incentive stipulated in the Normative Act SRF n. 086 of 28/10/94.

Seize this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by using a part of your tax payable when filing your next tax return. You will be able to follow up on the results of your financial support in person.
