Associação Cultural Nascente Pequena Projeto Fênix

The Instituto da Criança supports the Projeto Fênix, witch are sustained by the Associação Cultural Nascente Pequena , on Guapimirim city/ RJ. The mission of the institute is to contribute for the citizenship strengthening through the rescue of cultural values and the defense of the environment, with the development of social education projects and with beget work and income.

The Fenix Project has as target join educational actions with artistic practices, so that contribute to the educational formative of children that have learning difficulty or relationship problems. The children are leaded to the Projeto Fênix by the Schools of the city, when the need of the special attend is needed.

Besides of attend children, the project also contributes to the professional development of professors in formation fase, who do the normal curse of the State school Alcino Guanabara in the same city. This professors accomplish there curriculum in the Association, beneath the supervision of the education professionals.

The project activities follows the constructive philosophy and use different languages – verbal, mathematics, graphics, plastic and body – as a way to stimulate the whole human development.

In 2009, 37 children, of 8 to 10 years old, participated of the project and 25 professors from the state school Alcindo Guanabara.

Since the beginning of the Projeto Fênix , in 2007, The IC offers financial support to buy pedagogical and administrative material. Also do campaigns and events to collect donations required to the maintain the activities.
